Grace Gong, Managing Partner
Grace is the founder and managing partner of ShinyRise. Her practice focuses on E-commerce related business transactions as well as litigation and dispute resolution.
Grace has dealt with a variety of legal issues impacting E-commerce businesses. She enjoys collaborating with clients to problem-solve and form cost-effective strategies in achieving clients’ business goals and protecting clients’ rights.
Xiaoyin Cao, Counsel
Xiao was named a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times in 2023. Pragmatic and business-minded, Xiao is an advocate for her clients in all aspects of business and dispute resolution throughout the country, and extending her practice to China.
Brian Trotter, Patent Agent
Brian graduated from Columbia University (BSEE) and the University of Texas at Austin (MSEE). He assists clients in drafting and filing utility and design patents, prosecuting patent applications, and performing novelty searches, portfolio analysis, and litigation support.

Janet’s practice focuses on cross-border transactions, securitization, M&A, trusts, and non-performing assets. She is certified as Legal Professionals in finance, securities, insurance in 2020 by Shanghai Bar Association.
