Charles S. Ho

Counsel

Charles S. Ho is a seasoned patent attorney with the USPTO. With over two decades of experience in intellectual property law, Charles specializes in patent prosecution, IP licensing, infringement risk assessment, strategic portfolio management, litigation strategies, and IP commercialization for international and domestic corporations.

 

His legal career spans prestigious law firms, including Wilkinson & Grist in Hong Kong and Faegre & Benson LLP in the United States, where he provided counsel on patentability, infringement risks, and licensing negotiations. He has also served as a Judicial Extern for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.

Beyond his legal practice, Charles has contributed to the academic field as a Patent Law Lecturer at the University of Warwick, U.K. His expertise has been recognized internationally—he has been named an IAM Worldwide Top Patent Practitioner 1000 for nearly a decade in a row.

With a strong technical background, Charles holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University and has worked as an engineer before transitioning into law. Fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Cantonese, he serves a diverse global clientele.
